A Regulated Life
Summary
I designed a user-centric website for a pediatric occupational therapist specializing in neuro-affirming therapy. The site serves as a resource hub for parents, OT students, and professionals, providing personalized support, education, and mentorship. By focusing on clear messaging and a seamless user experience, the website ensures that visitors can easily access services, learn more about neurodiversity, and connect with the therapist. Key features include intuitive navigation, a user-friendly booking system, and a comprehensive "About Me" section that highlights the therapist's background and philosophy.

The Problem?
The challenge was to create a website that not only communicated the therapist's expertise but also provided an emotionally supportive space for parents and professionals seeking guidance. Many existing sites in this niche lacked an approachable design that balanced both information and empathy. The project required a thoughtful integration of therapy-focused resources with a design that felt welcoming and easy to navigate, catering to a diverse audience, from overwhelmed parents to aspiring OTs.
The Goal?
The goal was to craft a visually appealing and functional website that would make it easier for families and professionals to access neuro-affirming therapy services and resources. I aimed to create a platform where users could feel both supported and understood. The key objectives included:
Simplifying access to therapy services with a clear, intuitive layout.
Offering resources that educate and mentor in a compassionate, easy-to-understand way.
Highlighting the therapist’s values around neurodiversity, strengths-based approaches, and individualized care.
