Wedding Invitations
I was tasked with bringing a dream farm wedding to life with limited visual resources, this project was a delightful exercise in creative problem-solving. Working in mostly photoshop, I developed three distinct invitation mockups, each designed to capture a different charm and joyful spirit of their special day. The chosen design beautifully sets the tone for their celebration.

The Challenges
With a farm wedding theme to evoke, a significant hurdle was the limited availability and quality of source imagery. I was provided with only two photos of the couple, both of which were not ideal in terms of resolution and composition. This required a resourceful and imaginative approach to design, focusing on photo upscaling, custom illustrations, and thoughtful use of color and texture to convey the desired rustic elegance without relying heavily on high-quality photography. The process involved compositing the existing elements while ensuring the overall aesthetic remained cohesive and inviting.
The Goals
To overcome the challenge of limited and low-quality source photography, while still delivering a high-impact wedding invitation suite for a farm-themed celebration. The objective was to creatively interpret the client's preferences, present a range of three compelling mockups, and ultimately produce a refined invitation that effectively communicated the wedding's charm and details, ensuring a beautiful and memorable first impression for guests.
Insights
This project underscored the importance of adaptability and creative problem-solving in design. Facing limited and low-quality photography, it became clear that a strong understanding of typography, illustration, and compositional balance was imperative in conveying the desired mood and information effectively. It reinforced that exceptional design isn't solely dependent on perfect source assets, but rather on the designer's ability to leverage every available tool and element to achieve the client's vision.
