Communications

Welcome to the communications portion of my portfolio, a curated collection of my work in storytelling, branding, and digital engagement. Here, you’ll find examples of my newsletters, social media content, and strategic campaigns that reflect my passion for creating meaningful connections through clear, authentic communication.

I led a successful digital campaign for Lutheran Social Services of Northern California that significantly boosted donations through strategic, participant-first storytelling. I created and curated all campaign assets: from original photography and short-form videos to participant interviews and branded flyers, ensuring cohesive messaging across platforms by collaborating across teams and spotlighting authentic voices, the campaign drove both engagement and impact.

A message to our supporters

Those Struggling Deserve Help

To raise awareness about a proposed law that could criminalize homelessness in the Bay Area, I designed a powerful social media post for Lutheran Social Services of Northern California. Centered around empathy and advocacy, the design paired impactful visuals with clear messaging to highlight the effects on people of such legislation. The post aimed to inform the public, mobilize support, and affirm LSS’ commitment to protecting the dignity and rights of unhoused individuals.

Trauma-Informed Care

I designed an 8.5" x 11" flyer illustrating the six guiding principles of trauma-informed care, using a clean, circle-based layout to emphasize their interconnection and continuous practice. Each principle is represented within a distinct circle, linked by dotted stroke lines to symbolize their fluid, ongoing nature and mutual reinforcement. The design balances clarity with visual symbolism, making complex concepts accessible to staff, clients, and partners while reinforcing a commitment to compassionate, person-centered care.
